Storm Hits NW Ohio

Saturday, a devastating tornado hit NW Ohio. This storm resulted in five deaths, many injuries, and extensive property damage. According to the National Weather Service, five tornadoes touched down in the Toledo area late Saturday and early Sunday. Yesterday, residents of communities in Wood and Ottawa Counties, where the strongest storm hit, began recovering. Residents will be rebuilding in many senses of the word. They will be rebuilding their homes and rebuilding their lives. Experiencing a disaster takes a toll on an individual and many will experience the emotional and psychological affects for days, weeks and months after the event.
