Women of Destiny is a Christ-centered ministry at Gateway Church created to encourage and enable women to recognize and achieve God's purpose in their lives.  

The Women of Destiny   key verse is Jeremiah 29:11     "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."       

We consider it an honor to lead women in this endeavor.  Please join us as we seek to discover the plans God has for each of us by studying His Word; worshipping and fellowshipping with other believers; and reaching out to the women in our community with the love of Jesus.  Please pick up our latest spring brochure in the sanctuary entrance for details on upcoming events!

MOM'S (Moments of Motherhood) Summer 2008 Walk &Talk
          Gateway Church

Join us Tuesday nights this summer, starting June 10th, for an hour of walking and then a time of reading and meditating on the Psalms.  During this 11-week study we will be discussing how we can identify with others through the Word, our life circumstances and spend time reflecting on life.  Walking begins at 7:00 pm with the study starting at 8:00 pm.  We would love to have you join us.  Contact Melanie Weber (419-306-5462) with questions.



Mom's Morning Out         Fridays   9:15 - Noon

Moms, would you like the opportunity to run errands, make doctor appointments, etc. without children in tow?  Bring your 18 month through 5 year-old to share fun, crafts, and snacks with other children.  Your commitment is to take a turn working once a month, playing with and supervising the children.  There is a minimal cost ($6.00) per month) to cover the snacks and crafts.  Registration is required.  Contact Andrea Freeman (419-425-8412) or andreafreeman1@hotmail.com for more information or to register.

All women are invited to picnic with us.  Please bring an appetizer/dessert to share and a comfy blanket to spread.  Picnic will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
