Corporate Prayers February 2026

2.8.26

Holy and righteous God, we adore you as the One who orders all things by your wisdom and grace. Your beauty and power are unmatched in all of Creation. You are the God who lifts the humble and humbles the proud, who sees not as the world sees but delights in hearts that trust you. Your glory does not fade like the grass, and your purposes do not wither like the flowers of the field. You alone are everlasting, and we worship you this morning! Merciful Father, we confess that we’re often tempted to measure ourselves by worldly standards- by wealth, status, success, and recognition. We have sought security in what is temporary and have forgotten how quickly earthly glory passes away. Forgive us for our pride when we prosper and our despair when we feel lowly. Teach us again to find our true identity and worth in you alone. Jesus, we thank you that in you the lowly are lifted up and the proud are lovingly brought to a place of humility and truth. Thank you that our value does not depend on fading riches but on your unchanging grace. We praise you for the freedom that comes from knowing that our lives are held securely in your hands, even as the world around us changes and fades. Spirit, grant us hearts that rejoice in humility and trust you in every season of life. Help those among us who are struggling or who feel overlooked to rest in the love that you give. Teach those who have abundance to hold it loosely and walk in dependence on you. Above all else, help us to be a people who praise you no matter what this life brings. You created us to worship you… we pray that we would be a church that serves you well Lord and that our songs and our prayers would be a sweet sound to You. It’s in the beautiful name of Jesus that we ask all of these things this morning. Amen.

2.15.26

Father, you are Almighty God, the one that sees and knows all things. It is with open hearts that we come and praise you today. And since you know us Lord, more than we know ourselves, would you search our hearts and reveal to us the ways in which we have sinned against you. The world overflows with temptations to offer us. It seems we are tempted at every turn, The lure of status. The lure of gossip. The lure of anger. The lure of wasted time. The lure of beauty. We don’t have to seek out temptation; it is constantly before us, ready for the taking. But the problem does not lie within the thing that lures. The problem
lies within us. For our hearts are the soil in which we cultivate fruit or death. We often neglect this fertile ground, leaving it dry, hard, unable to produce life. We have not protected the soil in which you planted the seeds and so we give in to our desires. But we are not overtaken. For though we are tempted you have made a way. Though we see the shiny lie pulling us away from you, we do not have to take it. Instead we remind ourselves that you are better.than all the temptations that vie for our affections. And when we do give in, you are still steadfast in love. You are still faithful. This is the wonder of your grace. Help us to cultivate a heart that is ready to flourish. Ready to withstand the things that draw us away from you. Thank you Jesus, that though you were tempted as us, you did not give in. You knew the Father’s love was better. May we hide ourselves in you. Holy Spirit, give us wisdom to navigate the things that pull at our hearts. May we be devoted to you and you alone. Amen.
