It is hard to believe we are coming to the end of this year already. The Youth ministry is not going out without having as much fun and connection as possible. Earlier this month we were blessed with the opportunity to check out the new adventure park here in town, Soar! Living Hope Church was kind enough to host a wonderful worship before the jumping began. Between Living Hope, Gateway Church and the Naz, we had over 120 kids attend and over 70 of those youth were from Gateway!
Living Hope was bursting at the seams with worshiping youths as their very own youth worship team sang for everyone to enjoy. We were then convicted by a touching video of real life stories from people around the world. They spoke of the true value and importance of evangelism. Some people shared their gratitude for the person who brought the good news to them and helped them find their way to Jesus. Others spoke of the hard work and persistence it sometimes takes to bring a non-believer to Jesus. We left knowing just how important it is to save as many of God’s people as we can.
Next month we have one of our very favorite events, The Journey! This year The Journey is about “No Other Name” where we can look to rock solid truth and have confidence in the one who is sovereign over all that can lead us from fear and anxiety. This year's Journey seeks to provide students with 36 hours of intentional, unplugged time in community with like-minded believers as we dive deep into what it means that there IS no other name. We can’t wait to spend time with our students for another year of worship, large and small group teaching, breakout sessions, fun, and time with friends!
