Equip Classes are an excellent opportunity to connect with others in our church family while seeking to grow in our faith. As Christ-following parents, teachers, caregivers, grandparents, or youth leaders, we all have a desire to equip children to live in the world but not of it. Gateway Church will be offering the class Empowering Kids to Live Counterculturally. Using the Mama Bear Apologetics book and other resources, this class will help you understand the secular worldviews that kids face every day and learn how to build the foundation of faith and knowledge needed to equip them to respond to culture’s lies.
This class is for anyone who plays an integral role in a child's faith and life. Topics such as skepticism, postmodernism, progressive Christianity, and many others, will be discussed, filling your toolbox with practical ways to train the kids in your life to think critically regarding the messages that culture wants to push at them.
Beginning on February 1, Empowering Kids to Live Counterculturally will meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at our County Road 9 Campus. The class will continue until April 5. Childcare will be available with pre-registration. The deadline to register is tomorrow, Wednesday, January 25.
