The article “Someone Will Catechize Your Kids in 2021. Don't Outsource It. “ is one that Pastor Josh shared last year in a What’s Josh Reading Gateway News post. While it talks about 2021, I still believe the things that the articles shares applies to 2022. As the school year approaches, I want us all to think about the opening lines in the article.
“Catechesis is not just an option you can take or leave. Because someone will catechize your children. Maybe it will be your church. But how much time does your child spend there each week? Maybe it will be their school.”
I encourage you to think as a family where are you spending most of your time. Are you allowing church to be a priority in your child’s life?
