Corporate Prayers June 2025

6.1.25
O Lord we come before you now acknowledging that we are desperate for your saving grace in our lives. We are sick in need of a healer in countless ways. Our physical bodies cry out with disease, injuries, pain and suffering. In your compassion, show us mercy and heal us. Father, as much as we need physical healing, our hearts are in an even worse condition. We long to be free from the sinful wants and desires that cloud our existence with you but we are weak. We experience victory over one temptation just to turn and walk into the snares of another. And more often than not, we fail to recognize our transgressions. For who can truly know the depths of our unholy intentions and our concealed thoughts? Only you. You are the God who sees every fiber of our being, every doubt, every faithless act of betrayal, and yet you chose to pursue and restore us back to you through your Son. Thank you. Thank you for hearing our pleas and that you respond. Holy Spirit, give us a renewed awareness of your presence that we would walk each day in your fullness. Give us the assurance our hearts long for, that truly you are making all things right and beautiful. We cling to this hopeful promise. Amen.

6.8.25
Gracious and Merciful God, We praise you for your steadfast love and unfailing forgiveness. You are our hiding place; you preserve us from trouble and surround us with songs of deliverance. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! We adore you, God of grace, for you don’t count our iniquity against us, you don’t refuse us forgiveness or bitterly withhold your grace with a tightly clenched fist, but instead, you invite us into the joy of restored fellowship. You Father, we confess that we have kept silent when we should have turned to you. We have carried our guilt, and it has weighed heavy on our souls. Day and night, we felt the burden of our sin, yet we delayed in coming to you, fearing judgement rather than trusting your mercy. But now, Lord, we come openly, acknowledging our sin before you. We will not hide our iniquity. Forgive us for the times we have resisted your voice and trusted in our own strength. Please search our hearts and reveal any sin that is unidentified or unrepented and draw us to you in full repentance. May we run to you in confession- early and often! God of compassion, your Word promises that when we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive. Thank you, Lord, that in Christ our sins are fully covered and we are counted righteous in your sight. Let the righteous rejoice and be glad in you, and shout for joy, all who are upright in heart. We rest in the assurance of your pardon, and we rejoice in the freedom of your grace. It’s in the beautiful Name of Jesus that we pray and all God’s children said together, Amen.

6.15.25
Lord, you are faithful. Your goodness and grace has drawn us to you and we gather here today to remember who you are and who we are. You are our creator, we are the created. You are holy, perfect in all your ways & we are flawed and incapable of good apart from you. Lord, we thank you for your Word, for your commandments that lead, guide and instruct us. You have shown us clearly, the path of life but like those before us, we forget and choose the path that momentarily feels right but leads to death. We forget that you have delivered us. We forget that you part the waters and give us dry, safe land. That you provide mercy in abundance when we don’t even know that we need it. We choose ease because the path feels too narrow. But your Word is a lamp unto that narrow path. Help us to say like the psalmist, “I have rejoiced in your laws as much as riches”! Forgive us for neglecting your Word and your promises. Forgive us for not rejoicing in your ways and failing to trust that your way is better. Jesus thank you for always choosing the right path. Thank you for walking the narrowest path to the cross that only you could walk for us. Holy Spirit, impress on us the way of blessing and help us to live a life that reflects your goodness and wisdom and love. Amen The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. Amen.

6.22.25
Lord, hear us as we pray. Hear our praises, our cries, our silent pleas that are only known by you. Our hearts are open before you. Nothing is hidden from you and so search our hearts and make known to us the ways that we have sinned against you and against one another. Father forgive us. Our selfish desires and behaviors have not only caused our suffering but have caused pain for others. Our sin bleeds down into the lives of our children, co workers, family, and friends and its effects can be devastating. We need your Spirit to lead us away from the temptations that plague our souls and change us, not just for our good but for the good of our brothers and sisters. And for the one that is suffering under the hand of another, we cry out for mercy. You see the injustice. You see the ill intentions, the evil and the pain that have caused destruction in the lives of your people. No tear or grief goes unnoticed and you respond in tender care. You are our help. Turn our wounded hearts to praise as we remember your promises. For we know that nothing on this side of heaven can destroy us. Our souls are secure. Let this be our hope as we endure whatever this world brings. We cling to you. Hold us fast. Amen.
