11.9.25
Heavenly Father,
We praise you for who you are; our gracious, good and loving God! For you are indeed holy, and there is no one like you! We thank you for your promise to never leave us or forsake us. Even when we feel unseen, you see us. When we feel forgotten, you remember us. You created each and every one of us; knitting us together in our mother’s wombs, lovingly creating us as your unique and beloved children. We adore you, Lord, for your steadfast love that never lets us go. Your presence is not merely a feeling, but true companionship in Christ. When we feel alone, afraid, or forgotten, remind us that we are held by the promises of your Word. We are never alone.
Forgive us, Jesus, for the times when we have strayed from you. Draw our hearts back to you when we’re tempted to give our praise and adoration to lesser things. Thank you for providing a way for us to be saved despite our sinfulness. Thank you for what your birth, life, death and resurrection mean for those who receive you as their Savior. Thank you that when we place our hope in you, that you wash us white as snow.
Spirit, help us to praise you in all things and to give thanks in all circumstances. Emmanuel, you are the reason we gather today, the reason we sing, the reason we celebrate. You came to us when we
could not get ourselves back to you. This is amazing grace. Thank you, Jesus. Because of you, we are never alone. May we never cease to rejoice over what you have done for us! We love you Jesus. It is in your beautiful Name that we ask all of these things and all God’s children said together, Amen!

Father of Light and life, we come and worship you at your invitation. You call us and we respond. We come with songs and prayers, some filled with joy and celebration. Some filled with tears and grief. We come with our worries, fears, excitement, delights, and wonder. Hear us now, hear the silent prayers and longings. Lord we are in a battle. The war that wages between the darkness and light is a reality in this fallen world. We see the effects of the darkness. Conflict, death, poverty and injustice seem to win. We find ourselves asking why the darkness hangs so heavy. Why does it appear to be winning? And that same battle rages on in our hearts. We choose darkness more than we would like to admit. We forget our neighbor's needs and choose to serve ourselves. We slam the door of forgiveness. We give in to the temptation placed before us on our devices. And the darkness creeps in. We ask forgiveness. But you Jesus, are the light we so desperately need to overcome. Your promise to end the darkness is our hope. Our victory depends on you. Would you come and illuminate our hearts now? By your Spirit, help us to choose light, to choose truth and obedience. And Lord as we choose, light, it spreads. One by one, your light overtakes the darkness, with every small act of obedience and trust in you. Jesus, thank you being the light of the world that directs and guides our paths. May we shed this light on our neighbors, friends family, enemies for your glory. We look forward to your ever growing light as we celebrate your incarnation and your glorious return as King. We love you Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Your sins are pardoned. The penalty is paid. Thanks be to God. Amen.
11.23.25
Father, we adore and worship your glorious name this morning. You are the Almighty One who has conquered Satan, sin, death and hell. You are the Infinite One, who reigns from his throne from everlasting to everlasting. You are the All-knowing One, who knows our past, present and future and who understands our deepest needs and desires, because you made us, God.
We confess that we do not always understand your ways, Lord. The mysterious ways in which you work sometimes give rise to doubt in our minds which leads us to question you, Father. We become prideful in our hearts and assume we know what’s best when we wrongly think you’re not acting in our best interest. Forgive us for trying to put ourselves on your throne.
Thank you for being merciful by providing Jesus as the perfect sacrificial lamb who atones for all our sin. For as the Psalmist says, “If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be revered.”
Father, help us to revere you always. Give us the wisdom and understanding we need for this life and help us to keep you alone on the throne of our hearts. Give us ears to hear your word this morning so that we may go forth from this place, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. In your name we pray, Amen.
12.14.25
Holy and radiant God, we adore you as the Source of all light and life. Before the stars were set in place, your light shone; before hope had a name, your joy was already given. In this season of waiting, we praise you— for you do not leave the world in darkness, but send your Light into our night. We rejoice in the promise of Christ, the Light that no darkness can overcome, the Joy of heaven come near to earth. You are faithful, you are present, and your glory is revealed in humility and love. We adore You, O God, for your coming light. Yet, as we wait, we confess. We confess that we often live as though the darkness has the final word. We allow fear, distraction, and weariness to dim our joy and cloud our hope. We confess that we turn inward instead of walking in the light you freely give. Forgive us for the ways we resist your joy— when we cling to anxiety instead of trust, when we choose cynicism over hope, when we hide our lives rather than bringing them into your light. Cleanse our hearts, O God, and shine on the places we would rather keep shadowed. In the mercy of Jesus Christ, the Light of the world, forgive us. Restore to us the joy of your salvation. Teach us to wait with expectation, to live as children of the light, and to reflect your light and joy in a weary world. We adore you, we confess before you, and we wait for you— for the true Light is coming, and in him, there is life and joy for all. Thank you for the blessing that it is to gather this Advent season and always. It is in your Beautiful Name that we pray all of these things this morning. Amen.

Gracious God, we give you thanks and bless your name as we come today to worship and remember. May you fill our hearts now with joy and thanksgiving as come before you. We thank you for this time of gathering and the gift that it is to be together. As we take time today to lay our burdens and requests before you let us first acknowledge that we are in need of forgiveness. We come with unique and layered sins in our lives, things that only you know, that we need to confess. Please hear our silent prayers to you now. Father, thank you that we can come to you and that you graciously respond. Let our grief turn to gladness, as we rejoice under the banner of your grace and love. Forgive us, heal us, and correct us. Thank you that you do not turn away, you extend your hand even further to us. Jesus, we continue the celebration of your birth and the perfect life lived on our behalf. Holy Spirit, we ask for your reassurance now. Thank you for our salvation. The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. In Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God! Amen.
