Gateway Church hosted our annual Volunteer Training event on August 9, and what a fruitful morning it was! Volunteers from several ministries gathered at our County Road 9 Campus for a time of encouragement, practical equipping, and breakout sessions tailored to their specific areas of service. Whether teaching kids, greeting guests, serving coffee, or leading a Life Group, our volunteers walked away empowered and ready for the fall season ahead. We're so grateful for each person who gives their time and heart to serve the body of Christ!
In addition to the training, we’re excited to share that we’ve expanded our Life Group Resource Library at the County Road 9 Campus. Whether you're a Life Group leader, group member, or simply someone looking to dig deeper into God’s Word, we’ve added several new study series worth checking out.
Reformed Expository Bible Study Series – A Christ-centered, application-rich resource that walks through books of the Bible with theological depth and practical application. Perfect for group discussion and personal growth.
God’s Word for You Series – Written by trusted Bible teachers, this series makes Scripture clear and accessible, helping readers understand how each book fits into the bigger story of the gospel and what it means for everyday life.
Short Studies in Biblical Theology – These concise yet profound books trace key themes (covenant, kingdom, or creation, etc) through the storyline of Scripture.
All of these can be borrowed directly from the Life Group section of the library.
Finally, our Life Group season officially launched on August 10, and there’s still time to jump in if you aren’t already connected. Life Groups are a place to grow in and apply God’s Word and care for one another — things that are vitally important for making disciples of Jesus. If you're looking to get connected, visit gatewayepc.org/life-groups to sign up or learn more.
Have a great rest of your summer!
