Stay Connected This Summer

Written by: Joe Sherrieb, Life Group Director

As we approach the end of our Life Group season later this month, it's a great time to reflect on how we’ve grown in the knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word and applying it to life as well as the care we’ve offered to and received from those in our groups. This year has been an incredible season of connection, spiritual growth, and lives being changed through intentional relationships. We’re so thankful for the way God has worked in and through our groups and we can’t wait to share some highlights with you at our Ministry Celebration service this fall!

While most Life Groups take a break from regular meetings during the summer, this doesn’t mean connection should take a break too. In fact, summer is the perfect opportunity to find creative ways to stay in touch, deepen relationships, and encourage one another in the faith. Whether it’s a cookout, a game night, a park day with families, or just grabbing coffee with a few group members, these informal gatherings can go a long way in maintaining the spiritual momentum we’ve built.

If you're already in a Life Group, consider planning a couple of low-key get-togethers to stay connected. Your relationships with one another are a vital part of your discipleship and growth in Christ, and summer is a great time to strengthen those bonds.

If you’re not in a Life Group yet, now’s a great time to start exploring. Life Group Launch will officially kick off on August 10, but during the summer we’d love to help you get connected socially with a group or meet some of our group leaders in advance.

Let’s stay intentional this summer, building friendships, encouraging one another, and preparing for an even stronger Life Group season ahead!
